Yachting previously reported, “Few, if any, yacht designs have as long and interesting a timeline as the Westport 112 motoryacht. This model’s longevity is due entirely to its popularity with buyers, as evidenced by the 50 hulls built to date. Currently being delivered at the rate of three per year, there is no end in sight.”

The flybridge can be accessed via a set of stairs from the cockpit or through the pilothouse. A centrally located hot tub, surrounded by sun loungers, invites guests to unwind in comfort. The full-service bar with stools, grill station, and an outdoor dining area creates an easy set up for entertaining guests on day trips. A retractable hardtop gives guests the option of sun or shade while the elevated helm station provides excellent visibility for the skipper. The flybridge also includes space for a tender or jet ski, launched via a davit crane.

Crew quarters are located aft with separate access.

Worth Avenue Yacht Sales says, “My Spirit underwent a refit in 2019, featuring a stunning Marty Lowe interior characterized by a bright and light design. Marty Lowe, known for her design influences for a number of builders interior design, has infused My Spirit with beautiful light fabrics and woods, offering a departure from the typical dark wood aesthetic. The Navetta 33 is built with noise- and vibration-suppression systems for quiet cruising. Alberto Cocchi

In 2017, when Custom Line launched its third iteration of the Navetta 33, the builder created a layout that keeps the interior and exterior spaces connected.

The Navetta 33 can sleep up to 10 people with its on deck master suite and four staterooms belowdecks.

Standard powerplants for the 108-foot yacht are twin 1,400 hp MAN V-12s, which can deliver a top speed of 15 knots with a range of 1,500 to 1,900 nautical miles at cruise speed.

At press time, there were 13 Custom Line Navetta 33s available, from $4.4 million to $15.99 million.

From the Archive

“She’s timeless, but not dainty. She’s solid and architectural, even. Credit for the exterior and general arrangement goes to Zuccon International Project in Rome, which has been responsible for every Custom Line launched. Bernardo Zuccon says one of his studio’s keywords translates to live. ‘Boats are not objects,’ says Zuccon. ‘They are spaces for people. Our job is to find better solutions for them.’”

The 2020 Ocean Alexander 100 Skylounge Bella Lisa is currently listed by MarineMax for $8.7 million.

Bella Lisa accommodates 10 guests across five staterooms, with additional space for five crew. The yacht’s design stands out for its on-deck master suite, a feature generally found on larger superyachts. There are four guest staterooms belowdecks.

“What a difference 10 feet can make. Ocean Alexander already offers a 90-footer with a four-stateroom layout whose guest spaces would qualify as VIP suites on most yachts. With its OA 100 Skylounge, the builder has added an on-deck master, much like the kind aboard superyachts. That’s one reason why Ocean Alexander calls the 100 Skylounge the entry-level yacht in its six-model mega-yacht series,” Yachting previously reported

“While designer Evan K. Marshall may be known for superyachts, he brings a practical sensibility along with luxurious touches to his designs for Ocean Alexander. Marshall was the first to use the split-level master suite, making use of the bow for a step-down en suite head that includes a bureau with nine backlit and Lucite-faced drawers.”

The interior layout has an open-plan salon that integrates living and dining areas. Large windows throughout create natural light, an enhanced sense of volume and offer unobstructed views.

Outside, the cockpit, shaded by the skylounge aft deck, has a U-shaped sofa with tables for alfresco dining. A wet bar is conveniently located nearby. The foredeck has a C-shaped settee with a table, providing an additional private area for guests.

The skylounge aft deck includes another wet bar, grill and L-shaped settee. A 15-foot Brigs tender is stowed here, easily launched by a 2,500-pound davit. Inside the skylounge, guests can relax in air-conditioned comfort while enjoying entertainment on the flat-screen TV.

Bella Lisa is powered by twin 1,920 hp MTU diesel engines, allowing for a top speed of 24 knots, with a 15-knot cruising speed for extended passages.

The helm station, located in the skylounge, has a Garmin electronics package. Wireless yacht controllers and plug-in remote controls enhance close-quarter maneuvers for the skipper and crew.

According to MarineMax, Bella Lisa has been meticulously maintained by a three-time Ocean Alexander owner. The OA 100 model is noted for its efficient layout and larger size compared to other yachts in its class.

Where is Bella Lisa located? The yacht is currently lying in Pompano Beach, FL.

Hot Lab in Milan, Italy, is sharing details about the exteriors and interiors that it created for the 115-foot AES Yacht Mereley I, which is currently for sale.

This fully custom yacht from the Turkish shipyard is intended to be a cross between a modern explorer and what Hot Lab calls “a sportier yacht.”

“Her volumes clearly reference the tradition of expedition vessels, yet at the same time have a more dynamic and sporty spirit,” Enrico Lumini, co-founder and design director at Hot Lab, stated in a press release. “We wanted to give a sleeker look to a classic explorer.”

Hot Lab AES Mereley I
Mereley I has a darker, neutral color palette with gray, black and natural sand and linen tones. Courtesy Northrop & Johnson

Mereley I is built to RINA classification with a semi-displacement steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The yacht’s reported range is 3,800 nautical miles at 11.5 knots, meaning it should be capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean on its own bottom.

On the outside, Mereley I’s color scheme—a blue hull with red waterline stripes—is a nod to the world of motorsports, according to the Hot Lab team. Inside, there’s a color palette that Hot Lab calls “decidedly masculine,” with no pastel tones. Instead, the yacht is filled with darker and warmer grays, blacks, and natural sand and linen tones. The idea, Hot Lab says, was to create an environment similar to a metropolitan apartment.

Teak is used in the ceilings and exterior areas, and there’s reportedly “intricate detailing” in the outdoor tables and handrails, as well as in the master and VIP stateroom headboards. The master stateroom, which is on the main deck forward, also has extensive glazing to brighten its dark hardwoods and marble with natural light. Additional materials used on board include oak, lacquered finishes and resins.

Windows on Mereley I are simple rectangular shapes, echoing explorer yachts. In the sky lounge, windows are sole-to-ceiling. Open bulwarks add to the views from inside the yacht. At the stern, the beach club has two skylights.

Overall, accommodations are for 12 guests.

“Their design approach considers not only aesthetics but also the yacht’s intended use and production process, which greatly facilitates the shipyard’s work,” Erdem Biçer, a partner at AES Yacht. “This makes collaborating with them a truly enjoyable experience. In turn, we strive to push the boundaries of production where necessary to ensure maximum adherence to the design.”

Hot Lab AES Mereley I
The superyacht has a reported range of 3,800 nautical miles at 11.5 knots, potentially allowing for transatlantic crossings. Courtesy Northrop & Johnson

Will the Mereley I project lead to more builds? Yes. AES Yacht is now planning production of the second hull, and is working with Hot Lab on a 131-footer from the same line.

According to HMY Yacht Sales, “Fresh off its RINA and Cayman Islands five-year survey completed in January 2024, under the stewardship of two experienced owners since her delivery in February 2020, and never chartered, Phoenix displays a condition that surpasses even her original state. Her maintenance has been overseen by a professional captain and crew.” The yacht is located in West Palm Beach, Florida, with an asking price of $9.995 million.

With accommodations for a maximum of ten guests, Phoenix has five staterooms, including a spacious master suite situated forward on the main deck. Two VIP suites and two twin suites on the lower deck complete the guest accommodations, while the crew quarters can comfortably accommodate a staff of up to six.

Powered by a pair of 1600 hp Cat C32A engines, Phoenix has a top speed of 18 knots. At 12 knots, she has a maximum cruising range of 2,500 nautical miles thanks to her 6,600-gallon fuel capacity.

The exterior design of Phoenix integrates sophistication with comfort, and her expansive, curved hull provides significantly more interior and exterior space compared to a traditional raised pilothouse vessel of similar length. The tri-deck configuration allows for an additional full-beam sky lounge—a feature rarely encountered in most raised pilothouse yachts. While retaining classic styling, Sanlorenzo has adeptly incorporated modern elements, including a retractable balcony in the main salon, a spacious hydraulic swim platform, and a Jacuzzi on the flybridge.

This motoryacht is powered by twin 1,800 hp Caterpillar C-32 diesel engines, reportedly producing a top speed of 22 knots. Cruise speed is in the 15- to 18-knot range. With a 3,200-gallon fuel capacity, Second Amendment is well-suited for extended excursions to the Out Islands. A CAT Extended Platinum Plus warranty covers the engines until February 2029 or 5,420 hours.

The cockpit is designed for entertainment, featuring a built-in settee, a table, and chairs—ideal for alfresco dining. Access to the teak swim platform is straightforward, with elegant curved stairs flanking the space. The foredeck offers built-in sun pads and a seating area with panoramic ocean views. Cup holders and storage compartments are integrated for added convenience, while the windlass and anchor systems are positioned for easy access. Wide teak side decks, stainless-steel railings and high bulwarks enhance safety when moving to and from the foredeck.

The sizable flybridge has a hardtop that partially shades the upper deck. Guests can join the captain at the helm on a bench-style settee or relax on a sun pad. A wet bar with two stools, a C-shaped dinette with chairs, and a grill create an additional alfresco dining option. The aft deck has space for a 2,000-pound-capacity davit, a tender and water toys. A hot tub provides a place to unwind at the end of the day.

Regarding the salon decor, HMY stated: “The tones throughout the boat are silvers, cool taupes, slate, and dusty blues. The windows in the salon are large, positioned 28 inches above the floor, allowing for expansive views from all vantage points. Another notable feature is the coffered-style taupe ceiling beams with white lacquer recessed panels combined with upholstered white panels. The lighting fixtures throughout the boat are all LED squares and rectangles, with triple polished chrome fixtures placed over key areas such as the dining table and main seating area.”

Guests can relax on three leather sofas with a custom table and three bar chairs at the wet bar while watching a 65-inch Samsung LED Smart TV. A dining table forward allows owners and guests to enjoy meals with ocean vistas through large side windows.

The galley includes a breakfast nook where guests can plan their daily cruising adventures. The wood grain and stainless-steel appliances take full advantage of the natural light streaming through the front and side windows. Some of the galley equipment includes:

“The 100’ Hargrave Second Amendment was originally designed from the keel up for chartering. This is significant because owners in this size range often seek the option to charter their yacht and benefit from the associated income and tax advantages. The current owners, however, have not chartered Second Amendment,” HMY Yachts stated.

When Yachting previously covered the Lazzara Yachts LY106 we reported on 24 Karat, the 106 built for NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon.

“In his off time, and there’s precious little of it, Gordon understandably likes to get away from the track and the crowds,” Yachting wrote. “His avocation is cruising and diving, and his latest vehicle of choice for this activity is a new 106-foot trideck motoryacht.”

For owners interested in experiencing a similar getaway—a crewed yachting experience—HMY Yacht Sales currently has a 2004 Lazzara Yachts LY106 called Lady Kristina listed for $3.695 million. The 112-foot motoryacht features a five-stateroom layout that can sleep up to 12 people and a crew quarters that houses a crew of four.

A few of the recent updates and upgrades onboard Lady Kristina include a full exterior paint job, the installation of two new generators and rebuilding the hydraulic swim platform.

Stepping into the salon guests will find a warm and inviting interior, aided by high-gloss African cherry and mahogany joinery throughout paired with light neutral-toned upholstery. Lounge seating includes the modular sofa to port and two tub lounge chairs.
