Numarine has launched the second hull in its 30XP series, a 98-foot explorer yacht equipped with diesel-electric hybrid propulsion. Like its sistership Minella, which debuted at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2024, the new 30XP offers an efficient, low-noise cruising experience with a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 8 knots. Unlike Minella though, this hull sports a more traditional white exterior and a revised interior palette in light tones and dark accents.

Designed by Can Yalman, the raised-pilothouse yacht balances performance and comfort with a focus on space and sea connection. The yacht’s 213-gross-ton volume is used to great effect, especially in areas like the semi-open beach club, where fold-down platforms expand the deck space to 46 square meters. A portside tender garage houses a 5.65-meter diesel tender, while the raised deck overhead creates a unique lounging area just steps from the water.

The flybridge features space for a wet bar and multiple social zones, and the foredeck is fitted with a broad sun pad. Inside, full-height windows flood the salon with natural light, and the master suite is located forward on the main deck for enhanced views and privacy. Below, four en suite guest staterooms offer generous accommodation.

The hybrid system consists of twin electric motors powered by four 108-kW diesel generators, delivering a top speed of 13 knots and notable efficiency at low speeds. Sound levels in the guest cabins remain below 40 decibels underway—quieter than a soft rain—thanks to acoustic design by Silent Line. Optional solar panels, eco-friendly materials and onboard waste management systems further support the builder’s sustainability goals.

As part of a seven-model fleet ranging from 22 to 47 meters, the 30XP fills a niche for owners seeking an efficient, go-anywhere superyacht with serious cruising credentials and a whisper-quiet onboard experience.

Sanlorenzo has introduced the SX120, the largest model in its crossover yacht range. Measuring 120 feet with a gross tonnage of 270 GT, the SX120 represents an update to the SX line, which combines best characteristics of flybridge and explorer yachts.

According to Sanlorenzo CEO Tommaso Vincenzi, the SX120 is intended to build on the existing SX concept, placing emphasis on onboard space, open-plan layouts and a connection to the environment.

A key exterior feature is the superyacht’s extended beach area, which can expand from approximately 430 to 753 square feet via folding side terraces. Oh, there’s a retractable pool here as well.

The SX120 is also the first superyacht to use Volvo Penta’s new IPS Professional Platform. The propulsion system has four 1,000 hp engines with pod drives and counter-rotating props. This setup takes up less engine room space, improves maneuverability and overall performance. The system also includes Eco Mode, which adjusts power output based on real-time demand to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

The additional interior volume gained from the compact propulsion system allowed Sanlorenzo’s team to reconfigure the yacht with a four-deck scheme. Belowdecks, are four guest staterooms, one of which can convert to a lounge, crew quarters and even a hammam. The  main deck is notable for its salon, a staircase designed by Piero Lissoni, a dining area for up to 14 guests and a forward owners’ stateroom with private access to the bow.

The SX120’s upper deck is designed as a flex space with panoramic views, intended to serve as a media room, dining area or playroom. Above, the sun deck has a modular-seating arrangement called the “Smart Island,” which can be rearranged myriad ways.

Interior design elements include wooden paneling across the ceilings and bulkheads, steel-effect finishes and alternating parquet and carpet soles. The owners’ stateroom has a decorative backlit headboard that separates the sleeping space from the closet area.

The Sanlorenzo SX120 has a reported top speed of approximately 23 knots and a max cruising range of about 2,000 nautical miles. Look for the SX120 to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 9–14, 2025.

Baglietto continues its innovation with the launch of Sui Generis, the latest superyacht from the DOM133 line. Unveiled last week at the La Spezia shipyard, this vessel distinguishes itself with a striking cobalt blue hull and superstructure, setting it apart from its predecessors.

Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, Sui Generis carries all the signature features that have made the DOM133 series successful, including expansive volumes and panoramic windows that open onto terraces. The yacht also features a two-level beach club with a lifting infinity pool, a feature that has become a trademark of the series.

What really sets Sui Generis apart is the level of customization incorporated into its design. The interior, envisioned by Baglietto’s own design team, includes two VIP staterooms on the lower deck that can transform into a spacious full-beam master stateroom via a sliding partition. Additionally, the central staircase has been modified to enlarge the foyer, making room for an art piece that blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. The sundeck also has a custom-made pool. The yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines, providing a top speed of 17 knots.

Sui Generis marks the ninth launch in the DOM133 series within three years, demonstrating Baglietto’s ability to meet the increasing demand for custom luxury yachts. As Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto says, the yacht “perfectly embodies the spirit of the DOM133 line.”

Maiora, part of the Next Yacht Group, has introduced the 42 Exuma, a yacht designed round real-world use cases for onboard spaces.

The 139-foot-4-inch 42 Exuma aims to prioritize onboard functionality over traditional arrangements, including reimagining belowdecks spaces and moving guest staterooms to redos of salon spacs and more. The primary drivers, according to Maiora, use full-height glass and an open-plan layout to enhance the connection between inside and outside.

“The yacht becomes transparent to the eyes of the owners,” stated Sebastiano Fanizza, CEO of Next Yacht Group, in an emailed press release. He described the design as a shift toward a more human-centered onboard experience.

Maiora 42 Exuma
The interior will have ELIE SAAB Maison furnishings, and some notable materials include Mystic Ocean and Fumo di Londra marble, bronzed mirrors and teak ceilings and soles. Courtesy Maiora

The superyacht’s design is the result of collaboration between Maiora, exterior stylist Giorgio Maria Cassetta and the interior team from ELIE SAAB, led by Carlo Colombo. Cassetta noted the challenge in balancing spatial height, light flow and aesthetic clarity while maintaining a streamlined exterior.

According to the builder, notable design features include elongated horizontal forms, continuous glass bands and fluid external lines that visually link the interior and exterior areas.

The yacht’s interior will have furniture from the ELIE SAAB Maison collection. Materials such as Mystic Ocean and Fumo di Londra marble, bronzed mirrors and teak soles and ceilings are being used to combine tasteful refinement with durability.

Maiora 42 Exuma

Four guest staterooms are on the main deck, each with sole-to-ceiling windows. The forward, full-beam en suite owners’  stateroom will have two walk-in closets, a bar area and a private lounge.

The lower deck is dedicated to crew operations and stowage, including a crew mess, cold and dry stowage, laundry facilities, and a garage capable for a 19.7-foot tender and two PWC. A multipurpose space can serve as a gym, a media room, a massage room or a sixth stateroom with a head.

On the upper deck, the standard helm and captain’s quarters have been relocated, allowing the entire 118-by36-foot space to serve as an open-plan indoor-outdoor relaxation zone. The 861-square-foot sundeck is a blank slate for owners.

There are propulsion options available. The first has twin 2,000 hp Volvo Penta IPS 40 engines, which should provide a 20 knot top hop and a 16-knot cruising speed. Triple 2,600 hp MTU engines with MJP waterjets are also available with a projected top-end performance of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. With the IPS setup, reported range is 2,100 nautical miles at 10 knots. The MJP version should yield a range of around 1,800 nautical miles at the same speed.

Hull No. 1 is in build and should be delivered in summer 2027.

Alia Yachts has delivered Limerence, a new 53-meter custom yacht designed to blur the lines between support vessel and standalone superyacht. Built in collaboration with Azure Yacht Design and interior stylists CT Mimarlık, the new yacht combines long-range operational capability with an impressive lifestyle offering, an approach that reflects both the owner’s adventurous brief and Alia’s full-custom capabilities.

Originally conceived as a rugged toy carrier, Limerence evolved throughout the design process into something far more versatile. The yacht retains the storage and technical features typical of a support vessel, but layers in the finishes, spaces and amenities expected of a luxury superyacht. The result is a hybrid platform that can accompany a mothership or operate entirely on its own.

“It’s the special genius of this design that Limerence is at once a hugely capable standalone superyacht and a peerless support vessel brimming with toys and amenities,” said Alia Yachts president Gökhan Çelik.

Exterior styling makes a strong statement with sculpted blue topsides and dark glazing, framed by an explorer-style bow and a substantial aft deck. The yacht’s most prominent feature is its fully certified commercial helideck, capable of accommodating aircraft like the Bell 429 or Airbus H145. The deck includes an integrated refueling system for extended sorties without returning to port.

In the master stateroom, a palette of natural textures, clean lines, and understated tones offers a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere. Courtesy Alia Yachts

Limerence’s heli setup offers uncommon flexibility for charters and exploration, according to Caroline Antlett of Christie Yachts: “With full commercial approval and refueling capacity for multiple sorties, it unlocks completely new charter itineraries—from alpine drops to hidden jungle airstrips.”

Below the helideck lies a garage outfitted for high-octane pursuits. The yacht carries four tenders, including a custom Wajer 38S and a 12.5-meter X-Tender, along with a Ski Nautique GS20 and a rescue RIB. The equipment list continues with jet skis, Seabobs, foil boards, diving and spearfishing gear, kite and windsurfing kits, e-bikes, two sailing catamarans and more. While a submersible is not currently carried, the yacht is rated to accommodate a 7-person unit.

The helipad converts into a multi-use sports court enclosed by netting—supporting basketball, volleyball and more. Additional setups include a golf driving range and laser clay shooting.

Despite its technical scope, Limerence is far from utilitarian inside. The interior, created by Istanbul-based CT Mimarlık with Alia’s in-house team, evokes a modern boutique hotel. A palette of natural textures, clean lines, and understated tones offers a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere.

The equipment list includes jet skis, Seabobs, foil boards, diving and spearfishing gear, kite and windsurfing kits, e-bikes, two sailing catamarans and more. Courtesy Alia Yachts

The yacht accommodates guests in three large ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite with convertible lounge area. Two guest cabins offer twin or double configurations, and all feature marble bathrooms with double vanities.

On the bridge deck, a light-filled salon connects to al fresco dining, while the main deck prioritizes utility with a water sports prep room. The beach club becomes a dining terrace after dark, and the helideck shifts into a cinema or open-air nightclub with professional-grade lighting, DJ gear, and AV systems.

Delivered earlier this year, Limerence is now available for charter through Christie Yachts. Summer itineraries include France, Italy, Croatia, and Greece, with winter availability in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and potentially Costa Rica.“Whether as a support vessel with the aesthetic and comfort of a superyacht, or as a standalone adventure platform,” said Çelik, “Limerence is proof of what a full-custom shipyard can achieve.”

Benetti has launched the 144-foot M/Y Fortitude1, the largest fiberglass model constructed at the builder’s Viareggio, Italy, shipyard.

M/Y Fortitude comes via a long-term collaboration between three key partners: Benetti, an experienced, and previous Benetti owner, and Cassetta Yacht Designers studio. The design team was responsible for the yacht’s exterior lines as well as its interior spaces.

The ceremonial slipway launch of M/Y Fortitude1 represents the culmination of the vessel’s construction and the beginning of the yacht’s life at sea.

Some of the yacht’s owner-driven highlights include a panoramic skylounge, a beach club and an aft main deck focused on entertaining and relaxation.

The exterior of M/Y Fortitude1 has highly customized outdoor decks including a large forward sun pad on the upper deck, designed for the owner to take in panoramic views.

Italian yacht builder Cantiere delle Marche has launched Nasiba, the third unit in its Flexplorer 146 series.

Built with a steel hull, Nasiba offers striking visual parallels with the earlier model, Maverick, yet introduces distinct features and layout innovations spread across the superyacht’s four decks.

While both Nasiba and its predecessor remain true to the explorer yacht ethos with elements like the disappearing A-frame crane for deploying tenders, Nasiba includes a more family-centric layout.

There’s a specific space designed for the owners’ children, emphasizing educational and recreational activities, which is a feature not found in earlier Flexplorer 146 models. The superyacht also has an infra-red sauna and a chilled plunge pool.

This oceangoing vessel is equipped with a “panoramic crow’s nest” and has been constructed to support a global travel itinerary, ensuring comfort, sustainability and a family-oriented experience at sea.

Its interior, designed by London-based design agency Winch Design, focuses heavily on eco-consciousness, using natural, safe and non-toxic materials to create a serene environment and highlighting earth tones.

The yacht  accommodates 12 guests, plus four more on pullman beds across six staterooms, with space for 14 crew in seven cabins.

“The owner envisioned a yacht that could take his family anywhere in the world without compromising comfort, privacy or environmental responsibility,” said Vasco Buonpensiere, CEO of Cantiere delle Marche, in a news release from the yacht builder. “Nasiba is a perfect reflection of their approach to life. She is a bold yet refined interpretation of what the modern explorer yacht can be, one that fuses performance, comfort, and sustainability into a vessel designed to embrace the world’s most remote destinations with family at its core.”

Nasiba is 145 feet in length, with a maximum beam of 28 feet. It is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines, achieving a top speed of 14 knots with a reported range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, making it well-suited for long-distance cruising.
