Hard Times, a 1998 Westport 98, has had multiple upgrades between 2019 and 2025 including new engines in 2020, an extensive refit in 2021 and new Garmin electronics in 2024. It’s currently on the market with Worth Avenue Yacht Sales for $2.395 million.

The vessel is powered by twin MTU engines with a combined 2,700 hp that can quickly spool it up to a cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed of 24 knots. A fuel capacity of 4,500 gallons gives it good range at cruising speeds.

Yachting previously reported, “Just as the classically inspired house is a home, the 98 looks the way a modern yacht should. She was not inspired by a mud hut, pyramid or geodesic form. She was sculpted by designer Greg Marshall, whose modern eye clearly has a respect for the past. Her silhouette has familiar proportions but a softer, more rakish look than what came before”.

After a long day in the sun and evening cocktails, owners and guests can retire to one of three staterooms for a good night’s sleep. Relentless is an exceptional representation of a Westport, according to the broker, Galati Yacht Sales. This vessel has undergone a major refit and upgrades exceeding $6 million in the past two years. Every area on the boat was looked at carefully for each work item to be performed. This renovation took place at the Trinity Yachts manufacturing facility in Gulfport, Mississippi, and was carefully supervised by an experienced owner, employees, and crew.

From all the new enjoyable and functional outside deck areas, magnificent salon, main deck master suite, guest staterooms, crew quarters, engine room, pilot house, and day heads, there were no areas of this vessel that were left untouched.

With new paint, two new generators, up-to-date MTU maintenance, new teak decks, new décor, new furniture throughout, new marble and custom stone countertops and flooring, updated water maker units, fully cleaned and updated A/C system, updated Naiad Zero Speed stabilizer system, and a seemingly never-ending list of modifications, updates, and upgrades, Relentless is ready for her new owners to entertain and experience cruising anywhere.

Yachting previously wrote: “Yachts are evolutionary products. Each new build benefits from the experience her designer and builder have gained from prior yachts, and the benefit is considerable. The narrow angle of her bow cuts the water cleanly with a noticeable lack of fuss, and her wake is as minimal as possible given her size and displacement.”

Note that this vessel is not for sale to US citizens while in US waters.

For Sale: 2008 Westport 130 https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/brokerage/westport-130-antares-for-sale/ Mon, 24 Mar 2025 17:00:00 +0000 https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/?p=68993 The recently updated, five-stateroom Westport 130 Antares is on the market at $11.899 million.

Westport 130 Antares
The Westport 130 Antares is equipped with twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesels, has a cruising speed of 20 knots. At 12 knots, the range is 3,000 nm. The asking price is $11.899 million. Courtesy Allied Marine

Antares, a 2008 Westport 130, accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms, plus five in three crew cabins. Previously chartered for $120,000 per week during the winter months, Antares has been well maintained and upgraded over the past few years. Allied Marine has put Antares on the market for $11.89M.

Speaking of the Westport 130, which was first introduced in 2000, “Her naval architect is Bill Garden, whose portfolio is bulging with both sailboats and powercraft of considerable renown. Her hull form is an especially efficient one. The narrow angle of her bow cuts the water cleanly with a noticeable lack of fuss, and her wake is as minimal as possible given her size and displacement. It’s something Garden honed to perfection on years of sailing-hull designs and brings to his motoryacht designs with aplomb. The fine lines forward mean the crew quarters are pushed aft a bit farther than normal, putting the guest accommodations near the yacht’s center of pitch for added guest comfort,” Yachting previously reported.

Antares is powered by twin MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel engines, delivering approximately 5,470 horsepower. These engines allow the yacht to cruise comfortably at around 20 knots with a top speed of 24 knots. Range is just over 3,000 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruising speed.

The Miami International Boat Show is scheduled to run February 12-16, with several brokerage houses announcing yachts that are expected to be on display for sale.

Y.CO says it will have the Sanlorenzo SL86 Ferrol at the Miami show. The asking price is $3.99 million for this 2017 build, whose twin MTU 12V 2000 M96 engines produce a reported top hop of 28 knots. Accommodations are for eight guests in four staterooms, with quarters to sleep four crew. Y.CO says Ferrol has had one owner since the yacht launched and has been “meticulously maintained.”

Sales broker James Pool at Y.CO adds: “Ferrol is an outstanding opportunity to own a Sanlorenzo SL86. With low engine hours, a strong cruising record in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and expert maintenance from a single owner, she is a reliable platform offering endless enjoyment. Her well-designed layout offers generous deck spaces and comfortable accommodation for eight guests. Equipped with powerful engines, zero-speed stabilizers, and with a top speed of 28 knots, Ferrol delivers both performance and versatility.”

Westport 130 Plan A
Reel Deal Yachts has the Westport 130 Plan A, 2007 build, listed for $8.9 million. The yacht has five staterooms, a 22-knot top speed and dockage available at Fisher Island. Courtesy Reel Deal Yachts

Also expected to be available for tours at the Miami show is the Westport 130 Plan A, which is being advertised by Reel Deal Yachts. Plan A is a 2007 build with an asking price of $8.9 million, and with dockage available at Fisher Island near Miami.

According to the brokerage house, Plan A is the only Westport 130 that has teak caprails and skylights in the master head. The yacht got a new bottom job in 2023, a new paint job in 2022 and a new audiovisual system in 2021. It also has a new deck awning system. Top speed on this five-stateroom yacht is reportedly 22 knots.

Grand Banks 72 Aleutian Relentless
Relentless, a 2006 Grand Banks 72 Aleutian, is listed for $1.795 with Galati Yacht Sales, recently serviced, with a 27-knot top speed and an 11-knot economical cruise. Courtesy Galati Yacht Sales

Another brokerage yacht bound for the Miami show is the Grand Banks 72 Aleutian Relentless, at the Galati Yacht Sales display. This 2006 build has an asking price of $1.795 million. According to the dealer, the knowledgeable owner has maintained the yacht “with an open checkbook” and just had major services completed, including a 1,000-hour service on the 1,550-horsepower Caterpillar C30 diesel engines, a full rebuild of both transmissions, new transmission coolers, new oil coolers, shafts pulled and checked, props scanned and retuned, six new air handlers installed and more.

Top speed on Relentless, according to Galati’s team, is near 27 knots with a cruise speed of 21 knots and an economical cruise under 11 knots.

How many boats are expected to be on display at this year’s Miami show? More than a thousand, between new and brokerage models combined.

The Westport Yachts 164, which was introduced in 2006, was previously the builder’s flagship motoryacht, only recently replaced by its new 172. Worth Avenue Yachts currently has a 2010 Westport 164, Gigi, listed for $28.5 million. With a six-stateroom layout designed to accommodate up to 12 guests and a dedicated crew of up to 12, Gigi boasts serious charter potential for owners looking to offset expenses.

“Cruise in style aboard the 164-foot motoryacht Gigi, crafted by Westport Yachts with exterior design by Donald Starkey and interior design by Glade Johnson,” says Worth Avenue Yachts.

While most yachts in the size range of the 164 have been built with steel or aluminum hulls, Westport leaned on its tradition of fiberglass builds.

“Through the early 1990s, some shipyards claimed it wasn’t possible to build a reliable all-fiberglass superyacht exceeding 150 feet,” Yachting previously reported. “And yet another bias: Builders asserted that buyers in this size range only wanted fully custom yachts.”

“Westport, and the market, proved otherwise. The Westport 164 launched as the largest series-built superyacht worldwide… The 164, however, is still the world’s largest all-fiberglass series yacht.”

Gigi recently completed a refit in early 2024 which saw the teak decks replaced, a new HVAC system installed, new overhead liner and soft goods replaced throughout. Features like an elevator that serves all decks on the tri-deck motoryacht enhance the onboard cruising experience, providing convenient access for guests throughout.

Accommodations onboard Gigi include an on deck master suite, a bridge deck VIP stateroom and four well-appointed guest cabins belowdecks. Two of the four guest cabins have king berths with a third having twin berths that can convert to a king berth.

This 164 comes equipped with twin 3,650 hp MTU 16V4000 diesels which give it a reported 22-knot top hop and a cruise speed of 18 knots. It’s worth noting that the 65 kW Northern Lights generator has 15,050 hours on it, however, it had the top end rebuilt at 14,000 hours in 2021. There are two 99 kW Northern Lights Generators that have 18,700 hours on them but had the top and bottom rebuilt at 16,000 hours.

Where is Gigi located? The yacht is currently lying in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A smart combination of design elements come together aboard the Galeon 550 Fly to make the yacht equally suited for weekend cruises or dayboating. There’s even a single berth crew cabin on board for those who prefer to have a captain for the weekend sojourns.

Westport Yacht Sales currently has At Ease, a 2018 Galeon 550 Fly, listed for $995,000. The 55-foot flybridge cruiser has an entertainment-ready layout with a variety of lounge spaces, inside and out.

At Ease represents the epitome of luxury and performance in the world of yachting. With its sleek design, spacious layout, and cutting-edge technology, this vessel offers an unparalleled experience on the water,” Westport Yachts says. “This motoryacht provides ample space for relaxation, entertainment, and exploration. Whether you’re cruising along the coast or anchoring in a secluded cove, the Galeon Flybridge Motoryacht offers the perfect blend of comfort and style.”

Galeon 550 Fly
The split-level main-deck interior has a galley aft and lounge seating forward. Guests can choose between the U-shaped settee and table to port and the sofa to starboard. Courtesy Westport Yachts

Stepping into the cockpit guests will notice an L-shaped transom bench seat and fixed folding dining table which is mostly shaded by the flybridge overhang. With the aft sliding glass doors open the cockpit and the interior spaces blend together with the galley-aft salon conveniently serving both the salon and the cockpit. The galley, which has marble countertops and solid wood stowage, is equipped with a variety of meal-prep appliances, including:

  • Dual-burner stovetop
  • Samsung convection/microwave oven
  • Double wash sink
  • Large over/under refrigerator/freezer
  • Marble countertops with overhead lighting
  • Solid wood storage drawers and cabinets

The salon’s lounge area is forward of the galley and up a few steps. A U-shaped dinette to port and a two-person sofa to starboard complete the seating. The lower helm station is forward to starboard. A combination of dark wood flooring and dark joinery contrasted against the white upholstery and headliner creates a bright yet inviting space for guests to relax and conversate.

At Ease has a three-stateroom layout that includes the amidships master stateroom which has a queen berth, a flat-screen TV, a variety of stowage and an en suite head. Courtesy Westport Yachts

Belowdecks, three en suite staterooms can sleep up to six people. The master stateroom sits amidships with a queen berth, a flat-screen TV and a lounge area that has a built-in vanity. The forepeak VIP stateroom has a centerline queen berth and a flat-screen TV. The final guest cabin

The foredeck on At Ease does have two sun pads splitting the centerline in case anyone on board wants to catch some sun after a morning swim. The flybridge has a lounge pad forward to starboard, adjacent to the upper helm station, and a semi-wraparound settee and fixed folding dining table.

Twin 725 hp Volvo Penta D11 diesels should push At Ease to a 25-knot cruise and a 30-knot top hop depending on load and sea conditions. It’s worth noting the engines have just 400 hours on them.

Some other notable features on board At Ease include:

  • Hydraulic swim platform

The grill station and whirlpool spa are to starboard just beyond the hardtop. Most of the after section is a blank slate, though part of it is used for tender stowage. Since 1994, there have been 65 Westport 112 hulls launched. The 2002 Westport 112 Raised Pilothouse called Integrity is currently listed with Luke Brown Yachts for $4.295 million. This particular Westport 112 was purchased by its current owner in 2006 and has since cruised in the Mediterranean and around New Zealand.
“One will rarely find a yacht of this vintage that has been as consistently well cared for as Integrity,” Luke Brown Yachts says. “She has always had a full-time captain and/or engineer aboard and, when in use, additional crew.”

The flybridge Jacuzzi will be a go-to spot anytime of the day and with a bar a few steps away, happy hour might start early. Courtesy Luke Brown Yachts

Although Integrity is not available for new ownership until returning to Spain in fall 2024, arrangements can be made to inspect it and offers can be submitted. Stepping into the salon, guests will notice the natural light pouring in from the waist-to-ceiling windows lining the space. Lounge seating is aft to starboard with a low-top bar directly to port. Formal dining is amidships. A circular dining table offers seating for eight. A chandelier above accentuates the dining area.

Past the forward bulkhead is the main deck country galley. Along with the forward dinette and the island bar, the galley is equipped with an array of meal-prep appliances, including:

  • Liebherr refrigerator/freezer
  • Thermador steam oven

The cockpit has a U-shaped dinette aft which has room for eight people to enjoy shaded alfresco dining. Wide side decks lead to and from the foredeck which does have a built-in bench seat forward in case guests want to enjoy cocktails at sunset.

The flybridge has multiple entertainment areas guests can enjoy. The after section is a blank canvas, perfect for chaise lounge chairs to catch some sun. Amidships, a Jacuzzi sits on the centerline with a settee forward to starboard and a bar to port. If the sun gets too harsh a Bimini top can shade the forward section of the flybridge.

After a fun day on the water ends, owners and their guests can head belowdecks to one of four en suite staterooms. Amidships, the full-beam master stateroom has a centerline king berth, a cedar-lined wardrobe, a variety of stowage, an entertainment system and four portholes, which help fill the space with natural light. Forward, the VIP stateroom has a centerline queen berth, a walk-in cedar-lined wardrobe and entertainment system. Of the two remaining guest cabins, one has a queen berth and one has twin single berths. The crew quarters are abaft the engine room with a double-berth captain’s cabin and a second cabin that has three single berths.
