Sanlorenzo has introduced the SX120, the largest model in its crossover yacht range. Measuring 120 feet with a gross tonnage of 270 GT, the SX120 represents an update to the SX line, which combines best characteristics of flybridge and explorer yachts.

According to Sanlorenzo CEO Tommaso Vincenzi, the SX120 is intended to build on the existing SX concept, placing emphasis on onboard space, open-plan layouts and a connection to the environment.

A key exterior feature is the superyacht’s extended beach area, which can expand from approximately 430 to 753 square feet via folding side terraces. Oh, there’s a retractable pool here as well.

The SX120 is also the first superyacht to use Volvo Penta’s new IPS Professional Platform. The propulsion system has four 1,000 hp engines with pod drives and counter-rotating props. This setup takes up less engine room space, improves maneuverability and overall performance. The system also includes Eco Mode, which adjusts power output based on real-time demand to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

The additional interior volume gained from the compact propulsion system allowed Sanlorenzo’s team to reconfigure the yacht with a four-deck scheme. Belowdecks, are four guest staterooms, one of which can convert to a lounge, crew quarters and even a hammam. The  main deck is notable for its salon, a staircase designed by Piero Lissoni, a dining area for up to 14 guests and a forward owners’ stateroom with private access to the bow.

The SX120’s upper deck is designed as a flex space with panoramic views, intended to serve as a media room, dining area or playroom. Above, the sun deck has a modular-seating arrangement called the “Smart Island,” which can be rearranged myriad ways.

Interior design elements include wooden paneling across the ceilings and bulkheads, steel-effect finishes and alternating parquet and carpet soles. The owners’ stateroom has a decorative backlit headboard that separates the sleeping space from the closet area.

The Superfast 46 marks a departure from the Turkish builder’s cruiser models, focusing on high-speed performance with lightweight composite construction. The hull is built using infusion and vacuum bagging techniques with multi-axial carbon fiber materials to reduce weight while maintaining strength.

With a beam of approximately 12 feet and a sub-2-foot draft, this power cat is designed for stability and access to skinny water. Notable features include a carbon fiber spoiler, a custom carbon dashboard and high-gloss gelcoat.

Hull No. 1 of Sirena Yachts’ Sirena 60 model is nearing completion and scheduled to make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. This model will replace the successful Sirena 58, offering enhanced lounging spaces, improved stowage and a modern aesthetic.

The Sirena 60 maintains the contemporary lines originally conceived by Frers Naval Architecture while incorporating updates from Sirena’s in-house design team. The yacht maintains trademark elements like the plumb bow and contrasting dark-glass surfaces and white topsides.

The redesigned transom profile creates additional platform space and rope storage lockers flanking the newly modeled stern seat offer increased capacity. Wider bulwark openings improve dock access too.

The extra length helped to increase the Sirena 60’s galley size to almost 54 square feet, an increase of 20 percent. Courtesy Sirena

The foredeck lounge has undergone a complete transformation, with dark grey upholstery, a floating backrest, a larger seating area and a folding table. The matching sun pad includes a convertible backrest, allowing for al fresco dining with a view.

Even the Sirena 60’s flybridge (one of the most celebrated features of the Sirena 58) has a redesigned dashboard and helm seats for a more modern look. A new Corian worktop is now part of the bar , while the sun pad now has a convertible headrest.

With the extra LOA, Sirena’s designers allocated more interior volume to key lifestyle features. Entering through the salon’s sliding doors, there is a galley that has increased in size nearly 20 percent to around 54 square feet. In addition to the standard galley amenities, there is an optional wine cooler. Windows have been increased in size as well.

Sirena 60
The Sirena 60 has a three-stateroom layout, with the full-beam owner’s suite seen here. Courtesy Sirena

The indoor helm station has ergonomically-friendly helm seats for extra back support during long passages. A pantograph door offers side-deck access, a great feature when shorthanded cruising. The companionway stairs have been remodeled to occupy less real estate while improving access belowdecks.

The Sirena 60 has the same three-stateroom layout as the 58, including a full-beam owners’ space amidships and a forepeak VIP double. The third stateroom offers flexibility via a sliding bed system that converts from a double to twin singles. Additional stowage has been incorporated throughout these staterooms.

By eliminating the rounded edges that characterized the previous model’s bulkheads, designers have freed up more space. Interior detailing has been elevated with new alcoves and niches in Corian. The Sirena 60 will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival September 9-14, 2025.

The exterior layout includes a 484-square-foot cockpit with two facing sofas and convertible tables designed to seat up to 10 guests. The cockpit has ribbed upholstery and a galley with a Fenix countertop, which is a composite paper-and-resin-based product with self-healing properties. There is also a barbecue, two burners, a refrigerator and an ice maker. The vessel has a carbon fiber hardtop and an integrated door in the windshield provides foredeck access.

Some notable features for the VanDutch 75 include a concealed anchor system and a teak deck with white caulking, a first for the builder. Design elements such as a hull-side window, horizontal lacquered ceiling panels that conceal the air conditioning system and track lighting are part of the updated design motif.

Interior spaces are by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design and include the “Cool” configuration (seen here) with pearl burl veneer, slate black wood, beige suede and light-tone Econyl soles. The yacht’s “Smooth” decor option has warmer materials, including Fulvo mahogany.

Power for the VanDutch 75 comes from triple Volvo Penta IPSdiesels, either D13 IPS1050s or IPS1350s. The yacht is reportedly capable of reaching a 40-knot top hop and has a 1,057-gallon fuel capacity. An integrated tender garage and hydraulic swim platform are also part of the design.

Turkish yacht builder Sirena Yachts announced its Sirena 60, which replaces the Sirena 58, will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

Naval architect German Frers’ design is notable for the Sirena 60’s plumb bow, modern lines and contrasting dark hullside glazing and white topsides, creating a modern vibe.

One of the notable departures from the Sirena 58 to the 60 is the transom setup. Frers completely rethought the stern space with a new transom profile that creates a larger swim platform while giving the yacht a more modern aesthetic, according to the builder. Functional improvements include larger stowage lockers flanking the stern seat as well as expanded openings in the bulwarks for easier dock access.

The foredeck lounge has also been updated with dark-grey upholstery and a floating backrest, the area includes a larger seat than its predecessor and a folding table too. The adjacent sun pad has a convertible backrest, allowing it to serve as seating for alfresco dining. Ocean views included.

The Sirena 60’s flybridge upgrades, says the builder, are the redesigned dashboard and helm chairs that have a more contemporary look. A new Corian worktop has been added to the bar, and the sun pad has a convertible headrest.

From an interior perspective, space has been optimized to dedicate more volume to lifestyle features, says Sirena. The aft galley’s size has increased by about 20 percent over its predecessor to nearly 54 square feet square meters. This expansion creates increased meal-prep space and more volume in the cabinets to stow provisions. Owners can now add a wine cooler here as well.

The Sirena 60’s lower helm has revamped and ergonomically friendly helm chairs and a pantograph door provides quick side-deck access. The stairs leading belowdecks have also been reduced in footprint and volume.

The Sirena 60 maintains the three-stateroom layout found in the Sirena 58, with all staterooms ensuite. There is a full-beam owner’s’ stateroom amidships and a forepeak VIP with a double berth. The third stateroom has a sliding berth system that converts from a double to twin singles. Both of the guest staterooms have increased stowage capacity. A washer-dryer can be found under the companionway.

Construction is in the process with hull and deck mold complete, with construction underway. The yacht is expected to launch in July.

Stay tuned for updates.

Pardo Yachts recently presented its Pardo GT75 flagship at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The 75-foot yacht is stylized with a reverse bow and sporty forward-leaning windshield. An emailed news release from the yacht builder states that the GT75’s side terraces, beach area and its multifunctional transformer allow for an “unmatched connection to the sea.”

“It’s a luxurious villa on the sea, designed to offer a unique and sophisticated experience,” said Gigi Servidati, president of Cantiere del Pardo, in the release. “The Pardo GT75 embodies the vision we aimed to achieve, thanks to our boatbuilding heritage, combined with outstanding design and cutting-edge technology. You can only fully understand the immense potential of the Pardo GT75 by living it firsthand!”

Layout and Features

A brainchild of Cantiere del Pardo, the GT75’s naval architecture was conceived by Zuccheri Yacht Design. Nauta Design also contributed to the ship’s interiors and exteriors.

The GT75’s enclosed superstructure provides complete protection, while a semi-open roof offers an airy lounge space to beat the heat. Her spacious cockpit is surrounded by large wraparound windows–most of which can be opened.

The interior layout includes wraparound windows as well as a raised central helm station for enhanced visibility. Courtesy Pardo Yachts

The sundeck lifts up electrically to reveal a dedicated space for a 12-foot storage area. High bulwarks and the walkaround deck provide safe livability of the exterior spaces.

The GT75’s layout offers a choice between galley-up or galley-down versions with a large variety of appliances. The galley-up version includes a well-equipped kitchen and an L-shaped sofa with a dining table seating up to eight guests. The galley-down version transforms the main deck into a large living area with comfortable sofas, a semi-open roof, side windows and a sliding aft door for viewing the sea.

Multiple sleeping area configurations are available for the lower deck’s layout. Options include two, three or four cabins, accommodating up to 10 berths including a full-beam owner’s stateroom, plus a crew double cabin. The standard layout features three cabins and three bathrooms.

“Onboard the Pardo GT75 we have translated the experience of seaside living into a luxurious yacht,” said Nauta Design co-founder Massimo Gino in the release.” This vision has been integrated by creating multiple outdoor spaces, including a beach area, sunbeds, and dining areas, allowing guests to enjoy each area at different times of the day. In addition the flexible layout offers up to four cabins, ensuring comfort and privacy. The exterior and interior styling of the Pardo GT75 showcases Nauta’s signature approach to modern, clean lines and a balanced, harmonious design, which perfectly match the Pardo Yachts aesthetic DNA.”

Specs and Performance

The GT75 measures 75 feet in length overall with a maximum beam of 19 feet and a draft of 5 feet.

With a standard engine package including triple 800 horsepower Volvo Penta IPS 1050 diesels, the vessel combines performance and stability–even in challenging conditions, according to the builder. Those looking for more power can swap out the 1050s for triple Volvo Penta IPS 1350’s adding 200 horsepower each.

Pardo GT75

The release states the Pardo GT75’s ride is both quiet and comfortable thanks to the hull being specifically optimized to work with the Volvo Penta IPS propulsion system.

Additionally, the engine room is already set up to accommodate the hybrid engine to lessen environmental impact. The GT75 has a 290-gallon freshwater tank and a 1,135-gallon fuel capacity, creating long-range-cruising capability.

The yacht is extremely tuned and drivable with a raised central dashboard for visibility, a bow thruster,  a gyrostabilizer and a second joystick in the cockpit for precision docking.

Azimut Yachts in Italy has launched the Fly 62, the eighth model in its range of Fly yachts that spans from 50 to 83 feet long.

The Fly 62—which has a length overall of 63 feet, 8 inches—is scheduled to make its public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, which is set for September 10-15 in France.

The yacht’s upper deck offers guest relaxation areas in both sun and shade. Courtesy Azimut Yachts

Azimut says this model’s key feature is a beach cockpit with a transom that opens outward, lowering a sofa and creating a sunbathing area so close to the water “that is unique for a yacht in this segment.”

Additional guest seating is in what’s considered the traditional cockpit space, with shade from the upper deck’s overhang. The upper deck also has guest relaxation areas that are in the sun and shade, in addition to yet another outdoor zone far forward on the main deck that is completely open.

Exterior design is by Alberto Mancini, with the superstructure volume increasing toward the bow. This choice allowed the beach cockpit area to be developed while maintaining overall sporty styling. Mancini also designed the new hardtop, with an eye toward what Azimut calls “hyper-modern lines” that complement the horizontal hull windows.

Interiors on the Azimut Fly 62 are by architect Fabio Fantolino, marking his second project with the shipyard. Fantolino’s goal was to create open spaces that are free of visual obstacles. Renderings from the builder show a combination of white and light neutral tones in the standard décor, with substantial glazing on the main deck that allows for broad views of the outdoors.

Power on this yacht is a pair of 900-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS1200s. Azimut says the maximum speed will be 32 knots, giving the Fly 62 plenty of oomph to cover ambitious itineraries.

Draft is 3 feet, 5 inches, which is low enough to allow for skinny-water cruising.

Azimut is expanding its offerings in Spain: The shipyard also just announced the opening of two Grande Boutiques in Spain, one in Palma de Mallorca and the other in Madrid. As part of this expansion, the locations will offer personal service to owners of Azimut’s Grande Series, which includes models from 85 to 144 feet long. “The Azimut Grande collection is experiencing a wave of great fortune in Spain,” according to the builder. “The recent delivery of a Grande trideck in the Balearics and of a Grande 27m in collaboration with Marina Estrella are testaments to this success.”

With the Infynito 80, Ferretti Yachts kept what it calls the All-Season Terrace, a space far forward that is partially covered and partially open for use in various kinds of weather. The sundeck on the Infynito 80 can also be open or semi-enclosed.

What’s different between this model and the Infynito 90 is the upper deck. On the Infynito 80, that space is a completely open sundeck with a hardtop that provides shade for the dining area and helm station. Aft on the Infynito 80’s upper deck is space for freestanding sun loungers.

Also part of this model is FSEA technology, which stands for Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture. It’s a package of environmentally minded elements including a fast-displacement hull that improves fuel efficiency, natural fabrics, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, water-based paints and lamellar teak with Forest Stewardship Council certification. The yacht also has an integrated system that stores the solar energy collected by photovoltaic panels that are on the hardtop and on the roof of the All-Season Terrace.

Inside, the main deck includes a salon and a forward galley with an electric window that looks out onto the All-Season Terrace.

Belowdecks are four ensuite staterooms for a total of eight people. The crew area, with two cabins, is amidships and can be entered separately from the yacht’s port side.

In terms of power, Hull No. 1 is outfitted with optional twin 1,400-horsepower MAN V-12s. Ferretti Yachts says these engines produce a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.

Standard power plants are twin 1,200-horsepower MAN V-12s for a top hop of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

Range, according to Ferretti Yachts, is 1,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Who designed the Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80? This yacht is a collaboration among the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaitalia.
